BierascieAn activist of the ‘For Freedom’ movement Raman Kisliak addressed Brest city executive committee for authorization of the ‘March of petty hooligans’, which he intended to hold on 30 July. According to the human rights activist, the aim of this action was to draw the public attention to the demands to stop the arrests of democratic activists on false accusations in petty hooliganism.

‘I intend to invite to this action the citizens who underwent detentions and arrests on accusation in petty hooliganism on the eve of the election and mass protest actions of the opposition, as well as those who are against the practice of such detentions and arrests’, runs Kisliak’s address.

The applicant promised that the action would be peaceful. He also attached to his address the list of 44 citizens of Brest oblast who were detained and punished before the election and the opposition’s actions.
