Detained at the Russian Embassy in Minsk activists from Homel Dzmitry Karashkou and Stanislau Bula were arrested for 15 and 11 days, respectively, reported human rights activist Anastasia Loika.

Decision was taken by the Central District Court, having considered the cases initiated under Article 23.34 of the Administrative Code, namely the violation of the order of organizing and holding mass a event or picketing.

According to A. Loika more severe penalty of Karashkou was due to the fact that he was prosecuted the second time within a year.

Karashou and Bula were standing at the Embassy with posters “Putin – the enemy of Ukraine and Russia” and “Putin hands out from Ukraine, no more war”.
