Partner NGOs of Human Rights House Foundation: Human Rights Watch, International Federation for Human Rights, the Belarusian Human Rights House, Amnesty International participated in the conference.

The mutually prepared report contains a comprehensive look at the qualitative aspect of Belarus’s work with the UN mechanisms on Human Rights.

The cooperation was evaluated from the point of view of results achieved in the country, recommendations performed by the state, the state response to the criticism and the general attitude of the officials to the UN and international human rights law.

On June 27 at the 20th session the UN Council on Human Rights wil discuss the human rights situation in Belarus. During this discussion, Human Rights House Foundation together with other NGOs will demand a special rapporteur on the human rights situation in Belarus. The Special Rapporteur is an independent expert appointed by the Council on Human Rights to monitor the whole human rights situation in the country or any particular topic.
