Continuation of unlawful practice of purposeful political persecution against the opponents of the regime in the country shows that in the field of civil rights and political freedoms the entirely destructive suppression system has formed here. It is aimed at purposeful and deliberate deprivation active citizens of their inalienable constitutional rights to freedom of association, peaceful assembly, dissemination of information and expression of views…

Today endless arrests and trials over activists of “Malady Front” are obviously ideologically registered.

Administrative cases against young people who are protesting against the systematic violation of the Basic Law by the governing bureaucracy, are fabricated and serve as a constraint to abandon an active citizenship, historic national values and political beliefs.

It is sad to state, but these fully purposeful and organized anti-constitutional actions using authority power are intended to break the spirit of any civil initiative which awakens the national consciousness and patriotism in the society and also resistance to the totalitarian tendencies, corruption and nomenclature-command sabotage. These actions are aimed at preventing all forms of solidarity action in the aspirations of citizens for the legal and democratic reforms in the country.

We have to admit that today Belarus is getting further away from its constitutional and international obligations on human rights. And the power subjects of law instead of the unconditional implementation of the Constitution and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) actually deliberately and knowingly violate these basic legal documents , giving an absolute preference not to the law, but to a criminal ideological expediency.
